Discovery Call

Service Description

A discovery call offers a number of benefits for both me, as your partner in well-being and you, the potential client. Think of it as the first (very important) step in establishing a successful working relationship. A discovery call works akin to shopping for a new pair of shoes - you see the shoes, you envision how they will make you feel, what people will say when you wear them....you imagine all of the compliments you will get and how they will allow you to REALLY strut your stuff. So you try them on and make sure they FIT. Right? Yes, you 'might' buy them because they might look spectacular, but if you wear them to work the next day and the fit is a little restrictive, or pinches your toes, how often are you 'actually' going to wear them from that point on? Probably never. Or at least very minimally because as much as they look nice, they certainly don't FEEL nice. And you won't want to do anything in them. Coaching is similar - if there isn't a good 'fit' the likelihood of you investing in yourself and walking the walk will be limiting...and potentially painful. Our discovery call allows you an open opportunity to ask me questions and gain a deeper understanding of the services I offer. It also allows me to understand your unique needs, goals, challenges, hurdles and pain points so we can create effective success plans for YOU, together, as a team. An added benefit is that this initial conversation also builds trust and rapport, helping us both to determine if we are a good fit for each other. I've found that discovery calls can help set realistic expectations about the coaching relationship (i.e. what coaching is and what coaching isn't) ensuring a smoother collaboration moving forward. It can also help me guide you if the fit isn't as comfortable as you thought. Interested in trying this on for size? Calls are typically 30 mins and are free of charge. Coaching sessions/packages and commitments can be discussed in the session but will be offered as a separate service.
